What are the dates for Jamboree
The 24th Aotearoa New Zealand Scout Jamboree will be held from Monday, 28 December 2026 to Thursday, 7 January 2027.
Where will the Jamboree be held?
The 24th Aotearoa New Zealand Scout Jamboree site is located at Mystery Creek, Hamilton, Waikato.
When will registration be open?
Registration information will be announced early in 2026.
What are the Jamboree fees?
The participation fees for the domestic NZ24 Jamboree are: Scouts, $1,460; Leaders with a Jamboree troop, $875; and Staff or Venturer Staff Team members, $545.
For international participants (WOSM category D: such as from Australia, the US, the UK, and Canada), the fees are shown in NZ dollars: Scouts $1,660; Leaders with a Jamboree troop $875; and Staff or Venturer Staff Team members $545.
What is the theme of the Jamboree?
Together—Kotahitanga is the theme of the Jamboree, which aims to inspire young people to participate and work as a team.
What is the required age limit for participants to attend the Jamboree?
Participants for this Jamboree must be aged between 11 years to 14 years and 6 months as of Monday, 28 December 2026. This aligns with Scouts Aotearoa's organisational structure policy.
Can Venturers participate in the Jamboree?
Venturers joining the Jamboree will be assigned to the Venturer Staff Team (VST), and they must be 16 or older (born on or before 28 December 2010).
What are the age requirements for members of the Jamboree staff?
Adult volunteer members must be 18 or older (born on or before 28 December 2008).
